KW1X CHEAT SHEET FOR N1MM+
There are many keyboard shortcuts for N1MM+ logger. These are the ones that I use the most for contests. I’ve found that by using these few keystrokes I DO NOT HAVE TO TOUCH THE RADIO AT ALL. Some may find this disturbing but it works for me.
- Ctrl+T = Sends carrier to tune radio
- Alt+U = Toggle Run/S&P
- Alt+Q = Return to CQ frequency
- Ctrl+Q = Quick edit previous call
- Clrt+D = Delete last QSO
- Ctrl+Up/Down arrow = Grab next QSO from bandmap
- Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down arrow = Grab next mult from bandmap
- Shift+Up/Down arrow = Grab next signal from panadapter
- Ctrl+Pg Up/Pg Down = Up or down one band
- Alt+O = Send spot to bandmap
- Alt+D = Delete spot from bandmap
- Ctrl+P = Send spot to telnet
- Ctrl+K = Send CW by typing
- Page Up/Page Down = CW speed up/down
- Up/Down arrow = Tune radio up/down or RIT when running
- Keypad +/- = Zoom in/out bandmap
I USE ESM ALL THE TIME. Once you get used to it you’ll find you can’t live without it. These keystrokes are in addition to the normal keystrokes used to navigate the entry window ie. tab, space bar, home, end, esc., backspace, delete and enter. In the callsign box I use the Ctrl+Space bar to highlight the prefix, number and suffix with each sequential keystroke. At times I have to resort back to the function keys for a messed up QSO but not often.
I hope you find this as helpful as I do to navigate N1MM+ without being overwhelmed by the many shortcuts available.
